Digital marketing, SEO and social media are all different ways of online marketing but what about if you want customers to visit your website today?

Do you have products and services ready for people to buy?

If you have just started your small business you’re probably wondering where you can get your first visitors from.  You can get free PPC or pay per click adverts free from a few places that will help you and maybe even make some sales. After all the reason you have a business is to make sales.

Almost all the popular ad networks (Google AdWords, Bing Ads and Twitter.) Offer free advertising to new advertisers so you can have a pay-per-click ad campaign, free or almost free.

Sometimes to get your credit you do need to spend a little money but it is worth going with the free offers fist.

Google ads

Google is first in my list as they tend to have the biggest impact but you probably want to skip these first and move onto Bing or LinkedIn.

Google is the biggest search engine but it also has adverts called ad words and ad word express.

Before you head to setup your PPC campaign up add your business to Google my business

If you manage to sell something there is a very good chance someone may want to review you.

Next you want to add your website to Google analytics and search console. The reason I say you want to add Google analytics is so that you can track the clicks that you will get.

Google should send you a coupon to claim your free ad words. The value is from £75 to £125 if you are from the USA they will come up as different currency and in $. You can also try the link bellow that will take you direct to the current offer.

In basic terms if you spend £75 they will send you a voucher worth that amount back.

If you want to make the most of your Google ads make sure you look at your quality score. The better your quality score the cheaper your ads become.

The current offer with Google is £75 free when you spend £75 this offer may well change.

Make sure that you collect your coupon before you starts advertising else you may not qualify. This is the same for all the offers bellow.

According to Statista Bing held a 9.96 present share of the search market in the United Kingdom (UK) as of September 2020 this is a tiny slice of the market but is still worth signing up with them. You will probably find the price for their PPC is a little cheaper than Google.

To get your free ads you need to sign up for Bing webmaster tools then fill their coupon request from out.

https://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster/

From filling the form out it will take up to 7 days to get your free coupon

You might also want to also sign up for Bing places if your business has a physical location this will also help bring free leads in for your business.

LinkedIn

linkedin ads

LinkedIn offers free advertising credits as well but make sure your customers are on the platform first. If you sell business to business you should easy find you customers on LinkedIn. If you selling physical products aimed at the general public you will probably be better with Twitter, Google or Bing

LinkedIn ads can seem pretty expensive but they are laser targeted to business. If you are getting free credit it is well worth giving them a test out to see if they work for your business.

They offer credits from £50 to £100

advertise on linkedin

Twitter

Twitter ads

Twitter maybe less know for Ads but twitter does have twitter ads. To get $25 free head to the tweet bellow.

https://twitter.com/twitterbusiness/status/742757461531066368?lang=en

Tweet about what’s new at your business using the hash tag #TellTwitterSMB and sign up for twitter ads and they will send you $25 worth of free credits.

It is a lot less credit than everyone else but still it’s worth a try.

Yelp

Yelp advertising

Yelp may not be a search engine but it does have a lot of business added in there directory from the reviews I have read is that Yelp cost wise works out a little expensive but still useful if you have exhausted other channels

I have tried the methods in this blog and they do have an impact. What you might want to do is use one offer per month as this will give you a great six month discount on PPC ads for your business.

Pay per click advertising may not help your SEO directly but it will get your brand of business noticed.

Note:

Please use common sense when getting the credits above and make sure you read all the terms and conditions. I have used all but one of the offers on this article and had no problems. Make sure once you have used your free credit you pause your ads as they can continue and will cost you a fortune.

Do you have other places I am missing?

There could be other big offers out there just send me a message and I will try and add them to this blog.
